1. Introduction

PainWise ("the App") is an iOS application that records and analyzes the correlation between barometric pressure changes and physical conditions. This Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled in the App.

2. Data We Collect

2.1 User-Provided Data

• Pain Records: Pain level (0-10), body parts, pain types, notes
• Profile Information: Nickname (optional)

2.2 Automatically Collected Data

• Location: Used to obtain local barometric pressure and weather data (while in use only). Your location is not sent to our servers.
• Weather Data: Barometric pressure, temperature, humidity, weather conditions (via OpenWeatherMap API)
• Health Data (Premium feature, with user permission only): Step count, sleep duration, heart rate (via Apple HealthKit)

2.3 Analytics Data

• Firebase Analytics: Anonymous usage statistics
• Firebase Crashlytics: Crash reports for stability improvement

3. Data Storage

• Pain records, profile information, and settings are stored entirely on your device (locally).
• No personal data is transmitted to external servers (except anonymized data via Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics).
• When fetching weather data, latitude and longitude are sent to the OpenWeatherMap API, but no personally identifiable information is included.

4. How We Use Data

• Analyzing correlation between pain and barometric pressure changes
• Providing pain predictions and prevention advice
• Generating PDF reports (processed locally on your device)
• Improving app quality and fixing bugs

6. Data Sharing

The App does not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties. Only anonymized usage data via Firebase Analytics/Crashlytics is transmitted.

7. Data Deletion

• Individual records can be deleted from the history screen within the app.
• Uninstalling the app will delete all data stored on your device.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

9. Changes to This Policy

This policy may be updated as needed. We will notify you of significant changes through the app.
